Second meeting of the LIFE Phoenix Steering Committee

The LIFE Phoenix project, an initiative of the Council of Gran Canaria coordinated by GESPLAN, held the second meeting of its Steering Committee on the 28th of November. The meeting reviewed the state of technical execution of all the foreseen actions and which are currently active.

The bulk of the meeting was devoted to the project management tasks (Work Package 1), as well as WP2 (Preparatory Actions) which was concluded at the end of September and WP6 (Communication and Dissemination). The remaining actions are at a less advanced stage of implementation. However, part of the time was also devoted to the coordination of the Concrete Conservation Actions (WP3) which started at the end of October, both in Crete and Gran Canaria.

The next technical coordination meeting of the project is planned to be held in person on the island of Crete, coinciding with the scheduling of a new technical follow-up meeting before the end of the first half of 2025.
