The LIFE Phoenix project, present at the CEST 2025 international conference

The LIFE Phoenix project continues to carry out dissemination activities, sharing its objectives and initial results with the academic community.

On 4 September 2025, Dr. Lampros Papalampros, representing HOMEOTECH, delivered a formal presentation at the 19th International Conference on Environmental Science & Technology (CEST2025), held on Kos Island, Greece.

His presentation addressed the restoration and protection initiatives undertaken for the Priority Habitat 9370* “Palm Groves of Phoenix” located in Crete, within the context of the LIFE Phoenix project. The session contributed to the conference’s thematic focus on habitat conservation and exemplified ongoing efforts to preserve endangered ecosystems through targeted EU-supported actions.
