At the heart of STEPS is the connection between science and society. The project creates opportunities for meaningful communication and interaction among researchers, pupils, teachers, and citizens, with the aim of making research more accessible, inclusive, and connected to everyday life.

STEPS – Science for Growth: Empowering Minds is a European project funded by Horizon Europe – Marie Skłodowska-Curie Actions (MSCA) and Citizens. Partners are the University of Crete (coordinator), the Technical University of Crete and the Hellenic Centre for Marine Research (HCMR).
